- Multiplier Gates are blocker-style resource management features that change how many marbles drop from the top boxes before reaching the conveyor and bottom boxes.
- Any marble that passes through a Multiplier Gate gets copied — at x2 the count doubles, and the gate does not check whether you are ready or whether the matching boxes are open.
- The sneaky part is the path: not just the box directly above the gate — anything that rolls or slides through the gate area gets multiplied too.
- It wrecks your conveyor space: a 9-marble box through an x2 gate becomes 18, and with only one matching box open the rest just keep circling.
Pro tip
Count the matching colors below before you double — no yellow space means no drop. Clear leftovers first, and avoid back-to-back doubled drops (two can get messy, three is usually a panic-booster situation). If the gate sits low, clear one nearby bottom box for buffer, and double from a box close to the belt entry so the marbles clear fast.
