Drop the box at the pin head to release it!

How it works

  • A Pin is a golden bar obstacle shaped like a cotter pin — a round O-shaped head on one side and a straight tail on the other — that holds 2-3 marble boxes in place so they cannot be dropped.
  • You cannot remove it by tapping the held boxes or the tail side; the only way is to drop the one box pressed against the Pin Head (the round side).
  • Pinned boxes can be Normal Boxes, Hidden Boxes, key colors the bottom needs, useless colors, or path boxes leading to another Pin Head.
  • Pins create forced order: the color you need may sit behind one pin, while the box that releases that pin sits behind another.
Pro tip

Find every Pin Head before your first tap and mark the shortest release path. Open pinned Hidden Boxes early — unknown colors are dangerous. Do not chase tail-side boxes. When multiple Pins cross near the center, follow the heads, not the colors: clear the boring box first to free a pin that exposes the next head.
