Watch it in action
🛗 How it works
- An Elevator has two floors of 4 boxes each (8 total); once all 4 first-floor boxes drop, the second floor rises to replace them, then the platform disappears.
- Clearing 1-3 first-floor boxes leaves gaps that form "windows", letting you reach boxes outside that were blocked before.
- When the 4th first-floor box is cleared the second floor rises, sealing the paths you had opened.
- The Elevator is a timing tool — you are deciding when the board changes, not just sorting colors.
Pro tip
Do not rush to clear all 4 first-floor boxes — the first floor is a tool too. Keep your least useful box as a "doorstop" to delay the second floor while you clear deeper boxes; trigger the rise only after side paths are done and the belt is stable. Probe Hidden Boxes one at a time.
