🧊 How it works
- An Ice Box is a marble box encased in ice whose color is visible from the start (unlike Hidden Box), but the ice stops you from tapping it directly.
- To open it, clear two adjacent boxes (only up/down/left/right, no diagonals).
- The ice shatters when the second adjacent box is cleared, turning it into a normal box you can tap anytime.
- Breaking the ice does not mean using it right away: tapping too early on a crowded belt leaves marbles stranded.
Pro tip
Do not break ice just to break it — check what colors the bottom needs first. Prefer a clean trade where the nearby boxes are colors you can use now. Leave one side ready: clear one safe neighbor to half-open the Ice Box, then break it with the second clear exactly when that color is needed, turning it into a timed reserve.
